Waldowood 2012
Waldowood 2017 was unlike any other Waldowood to date. Early in the year, DJ the Dinosaur discovered that any dinosaur could call for a new election for mayor! DJ called for a new election, told no one, and won by a vote of 1-0. DJ immediately promised improvements for Waldowood including a brand new monorail system. Too many wrong types of bunnies and bears have come to Waldowood in recent years, he observed. DJ promised to make Waldowood pretty good again by returning control to dinosaurs and building a wall to keep out undesirable bears and bunnies.
DJ proved to be a poor manager. Soon railroads were abandoning Waldowood and residents were fleeing. By year’s end, only two railroad lines still existed. DJ insisted that things were a lot better than under Mayor Waldo.

DJ’s improvements to Waldowood including simplifying the rail system to just two trains, making sure the Waldowood CHristmas had a large dinosaur ornament, and building a new monorail. He also cut the population to three, solving all preexisting public safety and education issues. DJ also started construction of a border wall to keep out the wrong types of animals (partially seen under the monorail).
DJ Inspects
DJ inspects the border wall and monorail construction. Unfortunately, DJ did not realize the monorail needed to run on a closed loop track, the radius of which would take the track beyond the border wall.
